Welcome to the Vientiane Buffalos Rugby Football Club website. The VBRFC has come a long way from a few rugby players swapping stories in the late 1990s to a competitive outfit made up of a unique blend of foreign and Lao players.
The club prides itself on not only playing rugby to the best of its abilities, but on its commitment to increase access to rugby and to promote the unique benefits of participation in rugby in the Lao PDR. The club works hard to achieve this, working with individuals, schools, communities, businesses and other institutions to provide opportunities for long-term participation in the sport, whilst encouraging players to excel at all levels.
